I have been employed as a Butler/ House Manager, with my wife as a chef, for almost four years. My duties as a butler are constantly changing and expanding to meet the family's exceptionally high standards. Whilst the family is in residence I provide a full traditional butler service including formal table service, greeting family and guests and serving drinks. I have been involved in chauffeuring and organising transport for events such as Royal Ascot, international polo matches at Guards Polo Club and shopping trips to central London stores. I have chauffeured the family to numerous airports including RAF Northolt, Farnborough and Biggin HilL When the family is not in residence my main role changes to house manager. I am responsible for liaising with contractors and overseeing their work, maintaining the fleet of vehicles and making sure the house and grounds meet the impeccable standards that are expected. I keep detailed accounts of family and household expenses. There are three properties on the estate and a further two properties in London that all require a personal, flexible and very high level of service. A chef is employed and I am expected to oversee all the food that is served out of the kitchen. I have often been called upon to purchase, install and maintain high end audio-visual or computer and networking equipment.

My wife and I joined this large family in early 2005 as a housekeeping couple. My role as estate manager was to take charge of the main house and formal garden. I also took responsibility for the running of the farm including the eighty acre woodlands, ponds and fields. I drove my employers to various functions and took part in the numerous school runs every day. We were always available for babysitting whenever necessary and I also helped out with the children's homework.
2003 - 2004

My fiancee and I joined the Szepessy family in Eastern Hungary for eighteen months. We provided a number of services to our employers. My duties involved being available at short notice to chauffeur the family all over the country. Their properties were located in different areas of Hungary, both rural and urban and often travelled between locations. At each property I undertook the role of house manager where I was responsible for all maintenance and security. Maintenance duties included repair of electrical instruments, plumbing repairs, some painting and decoration and general repairs to the homes. I was responsible for the security of each building, assessing all risks, making windows and doors secure, nightly patrol of the perimeter and looking after the guard dogs. I was constantly aware of keeping areas I worked in clean and tidy, including regular valet of the car. I also undertook setting up home PCs and networks and maintaining all the computers. Discretion and reliability were my main objectives.

I worked for this building company, initially as a driver, where my duties included ferrying the skilled workers between different projects across London, pick up and deliver all necessary building supplies and remove all rubbish to the trade waste disposal unit. When new projects were undertaken I took up a role as assistant to the site foreman. Duties in this position included demolition, concrete mixing and general building. I used a variety of vehicles in this position including vans for building work and cars to transport workers around. During this period I also networked the computer system and aided in setting up email accounts

I joined WinTrade as a junior developer in Visual C++ before WinTrade amalgamated with PATSystems in August 2000. I helped design, develop and maintain the relational database within MS SOL Server. I also took on the responsibility of installing our software on many high profile customers' PCs. As well as installation and support I also had to teach top executives how to use our software.
